Day 7: January Mindful Writing Challenge

Air streams, the mighty cloud sculptors, shape simulacra miles above us. Stratus, cirrus and cumulonimbus. Clouds appear as impish, almost fay, or mountains of moisture reaching to the heavens. They range from horizon to horizon, riding the waves of weather fronts, and wander across the blue almost imperceptibly. Lighter than air they carry weight to wash away buildings. They take form. A table from a distance. Faces and images appear on closer scrutiny. Like pictures in a parlor they hang constantly, then disappear, and leave sun and stars and moon to shine.
