Day 12: January Mindful Writing Challenge

A blank sheet on a windy day. Sun bright, clouds drifting easily overhead. They cast shadows over the land you watch. Deeper shades of green roll across the countryside. You see hedges and trees and meadows. Here and there are cottages, barns. The tower of a distant empty church peers above a tree line. From a bag you pull a pencil, check its weight, and mark the virgin sheet. Lines cross lines and marks obscure spaces. The world in your mind’s eye recreated in grey and white.
