Day 18: January Mindful Writing Challenge

Even on a damp Saturday morning vehicles rumble past. There are few about but still the noise drives all else away. But wait! In the silent depths of the dark park the song birds sing their tunes. Sweet harmonious calls from one unseen creative to another. And for a brief moment the concrete world of my reality melts away under the soothing sonorous touch. Then lights blink in the distance. My lift approaches to take me to a monotonous existence.
