Day 21: January Mindful Writing Challenge

Mist drifts between rectangle slabs of brick and steel. Trees become specters under its suffocating kiss. Air freezes in my lungs as I walk through its peripheral vapour. I look up. A silver disc hangs on the grey wall, buffeted by sullen clouds. Eventually it’ll melt this chill. And warmer light will caress my flesh.
