Day 31 + 3: January Mindful Writing…

Just two pieces of furniture moved. A bedside table, small and rickety on loose legs, squeezed into a corner behind the double bed. A miniature cabinet, once perched on top a chest-of-drawers, replaced the bedside table. A minor shift. A big difference to my room’s character. Another stamp of me on my living space.

    There’s nothing better, is there, than taking ownership of the place where you live? And creating space makes much a difference, being able to see over the top of a chest of drawers. Small things, but they make all the difference…. nicely evoked here
