Small stone – Shimmer on the Surface

The Channel is calm. A child at rest, or at play, with a glint in its beautiful eyes. Clouds of multiple hue drift languidly out to sea. Above them burns a silver furnace. Fissures appear in the cover. Brilliant rays shimmer on the rippling surface as the white cliffs look on.
