The Blood of Old Passing To New Found Land

Iron-red drips down

across my lip and my tongue.

The tortures of life.

Fissures sunder me

from those parts I want to be.

See into myself.

A broken moment,

now I’m loathed by the old. This

bitter-sweet ending.
